White Cliffs & Boulder Springs: September 15-21

Hi everyone!

This week has been great! We taught Isaac again--he's on fire! We were teaching about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and somewhere we mentioned that you can only be baptized once, and that's why we have the sacrament every week. After the lesson, his mom told us she wished she could be baptized again and we were a bit confused because she hasn't been baptized! We were then able to clear everything up and explain to her that we meant you can't get baptized by someone holding the Priesthood authority twice. She had a look of pure joy when she realized what that meant! Isaac is planning to go on the youth temple trip too! Since he doesn't have a recommend, he'll wait in the lobby and read the scriptures while the rest of the youth are there.

Brian has a date for 14 November! We are really excited for him! He's a talker so it's hard to teach all of the points in a lesson in one visit!

Delaney has a date for 24 October! Her family has been less-active for a while so we've been able to teach her the lessons!

We've been teaching Joey because he's dating an LDS girl and is really interested in the Church. He read The Family: A Proclamation to the World and when we asked him what he thought of it, he said it was "right on"! He's such a great guy. We're taking it really slow with him to make sure he is learning because he had a sincere desire to learn and not because of his girlfriend.

We just got back from an amazing hike up in the Hualapai mountains! We were thinking a lot about faith this week and we read about Samuel the Lamanite. His faith was just about as strong as it can get! I love to see the effects of having faith, whether it's in a few chapters of the Book of Mormon or in our own lives.

Have a wonderful week!

Love,

Sister Bedont
