Anna and Braeden were baptized on Saturday and received the gift of the Holy Ghost on Sunday! I guess I forgot to mention that we convinced Anna to switch her baptismal date so we wouldn't have to wait almost a week between her baptism and confirmation in addition to interfering with family home evening. It was wonderful! Everything went perfectly. Sister Loveless and her companion, who had also taught Anna and Braeden, came back as well! The only missionaries we were missing were two who had completed their missions, so they'll be photoshopped into our group photo later :)
We had another lesson with Isaac! He is doing so well! We asked him how far along he was with his Book of Mormon reading and he said he's halfway through Alma! Oh my goodness! That's halfway through the Book of Mormon itself! Isaac is awesome. He's been living all over Kingman and we thought we would have to refer him to other missionaries like we did with Rick and Kelly. We felt like Job from the Old Testament! We're constantly trying to do what the Lord wants us to do and we are being tested. However, we just found out that Isaac will be staying within our ward boundaries, so we can continue teaching him! He's set to be baptized on October 17!
On Saturday we got to participate in a huge community cleanup project and we picked up trash along Route 66 for a few hours. Everyone else around us thought we were inmates! Right after picking up trash, we helped a less-active part-member family paint their house.
Because General Conference is coming up soon, we have been studying a lot of talks to share with the people we meet to encourage them to watch, listen to, or read General Conference talks. One of my favorites is "Lord, Is It I?" by Dieter F. Uchtdorf. Read it!
